The wood fired katakuchi shown below will be exhibited in "Beakers, Cups, and Mugs: The Art of Drinking 2016". This is an juried international ceramics exhibition being held at Blue Dome Gallery, 307 N. Texas Street, Silver City, NM. from July 26th through September 15th, 2016.

Shapes of Influence

This wood fired chawan, or tea bowl, was recently selected for inclusion in the "Shapes of Influence" exhibition, in conjunction with Springfield Art Association, at M. G. Nelson Gallery in Springfield, IL. The exhibition will run from August 5th through September 3rd. There will be a reception and awards ceremony on Friday, August 5th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Clay VI

This wood fired bud vase was recently selected for inclusion into "Clay VI", being held at the Kirkland Arts Center, 620 Market Street, Kirkland, WA. The exhibition opens with a reception on Friday, June 17th, from 6:00 - 8:30 pm, and runs through September 10th, 2016. Images of the work, installed, can be seen HERE

Working Pots

The two wood fired pieces below were recently selected for inclusion in "Working Pots", being held at James May Gallery, 213 Steele Street, in Algoma, WI. The dates for this exhibition are June 2nd - June 27th, 2016. There will be an opening reception on June 3rd.

Yunomi Invitational

It is always an honor to be invited to participate in AKAR Gallery's "Yunomi Invitational". Located in Iowa City, its the town I lived in for three years while doing my MFA studies in Ceramics at the University of Iowa. Having work in this show is kind of like going back for a visit!
