As spring rolls around, its time to get ready for AKAR Gallery's "Yunomi Invitational Exhibition". Unquestionably the premier cup exhibition in the USA, this annual show promises to showcase the widest selection of top quality pieces for drinking. AKAR Gallery, located in Iowa City, IA, hosts this show on-line, and the work can be viewed and purchased through their website. You have to be registered to "log in" for making purchases, but not to view the yunomi. This exhibition runs May 15th - June 05th. On-line purchasing begins at 10:00 AM, CST, on the 15th (May). Teapots, Vessels, Flagons & Flasks

These two wood fired pieces were selected to be shown in "Teapots, Vessels, Flagons & Flasks", an exhibition of pourable containers made by contemporary American artists.
The show will be on view in Mill Gallery, Guilford Art Center, 411 Church Street, Guilford, CT, from May 15 - June 14, 2015. There will be a public opening reception on Friday, May 15, 5 - 7 pm.
